Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Kohat has the authority to conduct matric and intermediate level exams in the district of Kohat and its adjacent districts and tribal areas. All the public and private schools and colleges in these areas are affiliated with BISE Kohat while thousands of regular students from these institutes and several private students of the above mentioned areas also participate in the BISE Kohat matric annual exams and BISE Kohat intermediate annual exams every year. Kohat Board manages the 9th class annual exams and 10th class annual exams during the months of March and April while the board organizes the 11th class annual exams 12th class annual exams in the months of May and June. Written and practical papers for both the SSC exams and HSSC exams are held separately.
