Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Kohat has the authority to conduct matric and intermediate exams for the students of Kohat, Karak and Hangu districts. These exams are conducted for the regular students of affiliated schools and colleges and also for the private candidates.

The 9th and 10th class annual exams are conducted in the months of March and April while the supplementary exams are held after the announcement of results of annual exams. The roll number slips of 9th and 10th class written annual exams are issued in the month of February usually while the roll number slips of the practical exams are announced few days before the start of practical papers.

The annual exams of 11th and 12th class are organized by BISE Kohat in the months of May and June while supply exams of HSSC part 1 & 2 are held after annual exams result announcement. The roll number slips for written exams are usually dispatched in April while roll number slips of practical papers are issued few days before the start of the practical exams. Later, Kohat Board issues the roll number slips for supply exams a month earlier than the start of the supply exams.

When the students send their application forms, BISE Kohat class 5 & 8 roll no slips 2024 are issued to the students through their schools.
